At Ginninderra Athletics Club, we believe that athletics is more than just a sport — it’s a community. And like any great community, it runs on the energy, generosity, and passion of volunteers.
Whether you have 10 minutes or 10 hours to give, your time makes a real difference.
Volunteering means:
- Cheering from the sidelines and knowing you helped make the event happen
- Being part of a child’s first race, or helping an athlete chase a personal best
- Sharing a skill — or learning a new one
- Building friendships and memories around a common purpose
- Showing your kids that community matters
You don’t need to be a coach, an expert, or even athletic. You just need to care.
From setting up the track and running a BBQ, to helping with uniforms, timing, or communications — every role counts. And every volunteer helps us deliver a safer, stronger, and more fun experience for our athletes.
Why it matters:
- We are a not-for-profit club run entirely by volunteers
- Every session, every event, every milestone is powered by people just like you
- Volunteering strengthens your connection to the club and makes you part of something bigger
Whether it’s once a season or once a week, we’d love to have you involved.
