Dear Ginninderra Athletics Community.
We had loads of PBs last weekend thanks to the tail wind on the straight track.
Club Training this Thursday.
This week’s session will be led by Bruno and Hannah. The session will include sprint technique, Javelin for U11 and over, and other field events. Gary will be back next week.
The Summer Series #6 is this Saturday, December 13.

8.45am for Tiny Tots and U6-U9 and Junior coaches.
10am for U10 and up.
Set up roster group is U9 Boys. Please assist if you can as we need volunteers to make the event a success. We have 3 signed up so far. We need 4-6 helpers to be able to start on time. Please email or sign up at the link below if you can assist.
Pack up roster is U11 Boys. Please stay behind to assist with pack up, others are also welcome to assist. So far, we have nobody signed up to assist. Please assist if you can.

Our final meet for before the summer break is our Christmas meet on Friday 19th December from 5.30pm for all age groups including Tiny Tots. There will be novelty events, fun activities and a visit from Santa. Events at this meet will be untimed.
Subsidies for representative athletes
Ginninderra Athletics will once again be offering subsidies for athletes competing at National Championships and International Championship Events. Details of our subsidies and eligibility will be shared next week.
Australian School’s Championships

Congratulations to the Ginninderra athletes who competed at the All School’s Athletics Championships from December 4-7. We had two National Medallists. Macie Wilson won Silver in the U15 Para Discus. Elsie Hamilton had an incredible meet, winning gold in the U14 1500m and 800m. Her time in the 800m was a meet record.
