Ginninderra Athletics follow a series of fact sheets produced by LA NSW to assist our volunteers to successfully cater for athletes with various disabilities.

Ginninderra is proud to say that a number of our members including Chris Nunn (Australian Paralympic Committee’s Group Manager for High Performance), Hamish MacDonald (Paralympian, World Record Holder and Ginninderra Parent) and Cameron Crombie (World F38 Shot Put Champion) have extensive experience in this area.

For those children looking at representing the ACT or Australia as an Athlete with a Disability (AWD) at Nationals or the Para-olympics, you may wish to obtain a classification for one of the impairment groups please visit the ‘Get Classified’ page on the Athletics Australia website for more information of your classification process.
