Ginninderra Athletics Club takes the safety of our athletes, officials and spectators very seriously.
It is very important to observe the safety information contained in the policies, first aid, the spectator zones in the event areas, instructions provided by the Committee or an Age Marshal, the Safety Procedures produced by Capital Athletics and practice general common sense.
All incidents are to be reported to the Committee immediately and must be documented on the Track and Field Reporting Form.
The Committee has Health and Safety Officers who oversee Ginninderra’s responses to incidents and ensures the Club has adequate equipment/knowledge on how to treat injury.
